Founder and CEO – Steve Salsberry

Back in 2012, Pastor Steve had an idea to reach out to our community with free medical and
dental care for all who were in need. As a result, AZ Sonshine was born and each year since,
there have been multiple AZ Sonshine events throughout the state and internationally as well. In
addition to chairing the AZ Sonshine State Board, pastor Steve is the pastor at the Mesa Palms
Seventh-day Adventist Church and the AZ Camp Meeting Superintendent. Recently AZ
Sonshine took its first international trip to the Philippines. The Lord truly blessed and over 500
people were baptized and the AZ Sonshine team served over 5000 people. The goal of AZ
Sonshine is, with the Lord’s blessing, to conduct multiple AZ Sonshine events throughout the
state (and internationally) that are completely self-funded with most of the volunteers from the
local community.
