Chairman – Steve Salsberry

Pastor Steve is a pastor for the Payson/Gilbert Adventist Churches and currently the AZ Camp Meeting Superintendent. In his 35 years as a pastor, he has been project manager for several mission trips including his last one in which they took 90 people from the Camelback Adventist church to Honduras. While in Honduras, the Lord bless and they were able to purchase 5 acres of land and build 10 classrooms for an elementary school in Olanchito, Honduras. Pastor Steve has a passion for reaching the community and hopes that AZ Sonshine can reach souls for the Kingdom.

Vice Chair – Daryl Oft

Daryl Oft is a Registered Nurse and business owner of Diversified Solutions. He and his wife Mary Jo are founders of Living Waters Intl an international humanitarian aid organization dedicated to providing assistance to crisis affected areas. Daryl has completed 39 mission trips to Africa, Philippines and San Francisco. For more information on Living Water Intl visit Daryl is active in the development and implementation of the Arizona Sonshine mission project to Prescott in June 2015.

Spiritual Guidance – Pastor Lou Fitting

Pastor Lou is currently serving as pastor for the Prescott/Dewey-Humboldt Seventh-day Adventist Churches. He has 25 years of pastoral ministry experience of which almost half of that time has been spent primarily working with high school youth. Although he has only been involved with one mission trip out of the US, he has helped organize many local community service projects for youth and young adult involvement. It is his prayer that Arizona SONshine will be a blessing to those served as well as those serving and will ultimately glorify our Father in Heaven.

AZ Conference – Robert Hastings

Robert Hastings is the Treasurer for the Arizona Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Prior to joining the Arizona Conference in 2011, he was the Association Treasurer for the North Pacific Union Conference of SDA for 23 years. The mission of the Arizona Conference is to “Light the world with Jesus’ love to grow the family of God.”
